The story of serving customers by providing them with what they want at an unbelievably affordable price started as a small textile shop on Ranganathan Street, since 1969. Currently it is a textile showroom par excellence that the whole of Chennai can be proud of. A success story made from hard work, sound business practices and dynamism, guided by a management vision.
There were various issues and challenges that was preventing this customer to provide an excellent customer services to its patrons. Some of key issues were due to IT systems, too many manual processes and lack of seamless integration. The challenge was to bring all stores, warehouses and Corporate HQ to a common SAP platform and gain control over key processes – from Procurement planning, inventory management to Retail Sales, Supply Chain and financial controls.
